Step By Step Instructions

HOdlcoin is not a new coin it was founded March 2016 what makes this coin standout is their idea on saving you can lock your coins away to gain interest depending on how long you lock away for the more you gain. This is a starting point for savings in crypto that's why this idea shines but what is even better is the low difficulty mining. You can mine this coin on even your home pc/laptop it only uses your processor. That is why it is available to everyone you don't need a beasty graphics card to get mining. As of writing this blog the difficulty of mining HOdlcoin is: 0.01 while Monero is 35,555,445,325.

Step 1:

Download HOdlcoin Wallet

Download

You will have to leave the wallet running while it syncs.

Step 2:

Join a mining pool

 The best pool to join is supranova they have the highest hash rate out of all the others you will need to sign up on their site.

Step 3:

Once you have signed up and logged in you will have to fill in your payment details.

You will have to go into my account then edit account then will fill in your HOdlcoin address as your payment address. I would recommend setting your payment threshold as 1.

Now you will need to create a worker once again it will be in my account- workers

Then just click add new worker we dont need to worry about what we call your worker.

Step 4:

We will now need to download the miner and config the settings

Once you have downloaded the miner place it on your desktop in a folder.

Now just open notepad you can do this by searching for notepad in the start menu.

Once notepad is open copy this script 

hodlminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://hodl.suprnova.cc:4693  -u Yoursupranovaloginusername.user -p password

Make sure you edit your username in the script.

Step 5:

Now just click file save you will need to locate the file where you saved the miner remembering to add .bat at the end of the filename.

Now you're done just run the batch file Happy Mining :)
